The Regatta and Coaching Clinic at Royal Geelong Yacht Club is a great place to kick start your season.
A big thank you to everyone involved in last weekend's event.
Especially Russell, Chas, Lorraine, Craig and other committee & club members that pulled it all together.
Thank you also to our visitors and the Impulse Association for supporting the club.
I understand that a good time was had by all. Terrific sailing Saturday, a bit cold and wet but great regardless.
Let's do it again!

Pre season training weekend at Cairn Curran Sailing Club on the weekend of the 12th August in conjunction with our last winter series race.
The proposed format is as follows:
CCSC Welcomes the Victorian Impulse Association for the weekend, and thanks those that have put in the effort to get this weekend to happen. Check out their Facebook page
We're looking forward to a great weekend!
For those interested the club will be open Friday afternoon for early campers and anyone keen on a sail.
The members of the CCSC invite you to dust off your dinghy, shine up your skiff, or tart up your trailer sailer. Root around in your shed and find all the bibs and bobs that make up your sailing craft, bring it out to the reservoir and join the crew in a 'social' (non-competitive) sailing event.
CCSC has relaxed and casual, clubrooms, change rooms, kitchen and bar/canteen.
We supply the venue, members with boats, opportunity to try sailing. Free!
Bring a boat – if you've got one – some lunch, snacks, the kids, your friends, relatives, neighbours and others*

The 25th Australian Women's Keelboat Regatta is less than 3 months away. It is Australia's premier women's only sailing regatta and will be held by Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron (Victoria) from 6-8 June.
This year we are expecting 200 competitors representing every state and territory of Australia, as well some international visitors.
I would appreciate it greatly if you could advertise this regatta to your female sailors.
Should they need help finding a boat, or if they need assistance with anything, they are more than welcome to contact me.
If you have any questions please let me know and I hope to see some teams from your club this year.
